On the last Thursday of the school holidays my sisters, my cousins, my Great Pop and I (and of course Benny) went sea lion hunting. First of all we waited until it was 10:30. It felt like ages until it was eventually time to go. When Benny did come we all got our jackets. We also got our gum boots as well as our hats and gloves. After we got our stuff on we jumped in the van. Soon enough we were on our way to pick up Great Pop and then George and Lucy. We picked up these people and went a long way for lunch. At lunch we all got a small glass of orange juice. George got chicken nuggets and Lucy, Omea, Anais and I got mini hotdogs. Benny and Great Pop got soup.
After that we went to see the cheese factory that Great Pop use to work in. Next we went to Great Grans old farm. Did you know that Great Gran she had nine brothers and sisters all together. After that we went sea lion hunting. First of all we got photos of us at the light house that Great Pop use to own.
After that we walked down the track to the beach. We saw a group of penquins. We hunted the beach for awhile as we jumped over rocks and collected paua. After that we saw SEA LIONS! There was a dad sea lion and about four or five babies. With the sea roaring and the waves slamming hard against the rocks it sounded like someone crying their heads off. On the way back we got a picture at Benny's old school.
Next stop was the ice-cream shop! We got an ice-cream. It was an ice-cream in a little pottle. I had a lucky dip and came out with a jammie donut flavour. There was that flavour and a chocolate chip one for George. Finally we dropped everybody and went home. It was a super and an amazing day

I liked your story because you listed your people in your story by using commas correctly. I liked how you finished your story too. I liked how you used capital letters in the right places and I liked how you used brackets in the beginning of your story. Your story was interesting to read. Thank you, from Neki - Room 7, EPS
